3/10/09 Rain overnight and heavily overcast at dawn with a NNW3-4 wind. Sunny by 7.30am with the wind moderating becoming a warm and humid day. Being a Saturday around 30 day-tripping twitchers (including Rob) arrived and successfully saw the Whinchat. Our highlight was finding a pair of Yellow-throated Buntings in trees near the lighthouse that we later relocated showing well along the Southern Central Track. Aki found a Radde's Warbler at the School Field just prior to his and Rob's departure on the afternoon ferry.
