25/10/10: Calm and cloudy conditions with a SW wind increasing during the morning being W5 by dusk. A rain shower passed through at midday. A quieter day with the early morning producing the, by now, usual line-up of species but soon after breakfast we flushed an Eastern Water Rail from the southwest enclosures and then found an obliging White’s Thrush on the School Field. There were only 4 other birders on the island today.
